Many clients purchase too quickly without taking well consideration about selecting which keylogger edition. As a result, they have to upgrade purchase or switch to a different edition. To make sure every user understand which edition to use, Aobo will give some basic instructions about how to select a suitable edition between Standard and Professional here.

1. The Standard edition is 50% cheaper than the Professional edition, please consider your budget before purchase.

2. If you want to record password, please choose Professional edition. But be sure that you know the admin password of the target Mac before you purchase the Professional edition.

3. If you need to record the name of the program where the keystrokes are typed, please choose Aobo Mac Keylogger Standard edition which supports application name recording.

4. If you feel that you are not so familiar with Mac software installation, please choose the Standard edition. Standard is easy to install and use while the Professional is a little bit complicated for junior Mac users.

If you install Aobo Mac Keylogger to a random folder instead of the folder we suggest in “ReadMe”, it will possibly encounter log and email problem because of your access privileges to the folder. For example, when you click “View the Logs” in General tab, nothing shows up. Lack of permissions will also lead to the problem of no log email.

 

To fix the privilege problem, please follow the steps below.
1. Open the interface of the keylogger by hotkey.
2. Uncheck “Run keylogger every time your Mac starts”.
3. Reboot your Mac.
4. Copy the main program of Aobo Mac Keylogger into the folder we suggested.
5. Double click the program to run it.
6. Bring up the keylogger by hotkey and set it up.

 

Note:   You may need to reboot your Mac after that.
            Please type more than 100 characters and click “View the Logs” to test it.

Some Aobo Mac Keylogger users may run into the problem of not getting any emails. They will ask “why it happened” directly without giving any more details. Actually, the condition on your target Mac is complicated so that the keylogger’s performance varies.

 

To help users solve the email problem easily and quickly, we provide the following guide.

 

  • Please make sure you check the “Run keylogger every time your Mac starts” on General tab of the keylogger. If this option is unchecked, the keylogger will stop working after your Mac rebooting.

 

  • Please make sure your settings on Email tab are correctly as we suggested, or the email sending will fail.

 

  • Please make sure the target Mac has Internet connection. It is understandable that the email cannot be sent without Internet connection so check it please when there is no email.

 

  • Please make sure that your Mac doesn’t go to sleep mode. The keylogger will stop working and the email sending will be unavailable in sleep mode. To prevent this from happening, please turn off the sleep mode in /System Preferences/Energy Saver. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2412

 

  • Please use a stable email service such as Gmail. Some email servers don’t work fine now and then or have great limitations on email size. This is also one of the factors affecting email function.

 

  • Please make sure your logs in email attachment are not oversized. For example, if the screenshots interval is too short, the logs will be too large to be sent, because some email servers do not support large-size attachment. The screenshots interval should be more than 20 minutes.

 

  • Please make sure you haven’t changed your email password. You may change your email password but forget to reconfigure it on the keylogger. Change your email settings of the keylogger when you change the email password please .

 

When you are sure that all the settings are correct, please click Send Test to check if the email function works fine. If the email still doesn’t work, please contact our Tech Support to solve the problem, we will help you as possible as we can.

Keylogger users may run into kinds of problems when purchase or use keylogger software. Today we will talk about what happened to my customers.

 

Once a new client complained to us that half a year ago he bought a keylogger from one of our competitors but found that it stopped working a few months later. When he approached the email support of the keylogger he was told that he needed to pay extra $69 per year to update the software to continue using it. A lot of users ask about how to make Aobo Mac Keylogger Pro stealthier on their Mac. It is actually easy to do that.

Follow the steps you will get your keylogger much more invisible and secure.

  • Open “ReadMe” and install subpart of the keylogger Pro version first with the instruction in “ReadMe”.
  • After the work is done, copy the keylogger main program to the suggested folder in “ReadMe” and double click to run it. You can rename the main program at any time you like.
  • You can build a secret folder for the main program if you decide it is necessary. But we do not suggest doing this when you think you are not familiar with Mac.
  • Delete the keylogger folder from “Download” or where you put it and clear it in the “Trash” thoroughly. This step can remove the clue of the keylogger but will not affect the keylogger so please just do it.

  • Please keep your password secret (no matter of the admin or the keylogger). Use hotkey to call for the program. Whenever you change the settings please click “Hide and go!” to make the keylogger work stealthy.
